Looking for a new ringtone for your mobile phone? Depending on your credit score, one of these songs might be perfect for you.
But before you pick a song, you first need to know what your credit score is. Equifax and TransUnion are the two major credit bureaus that calculate credit scores for individual Canadians. Scores range from 300 to 900, and the higher your score, the better credit risk you are. The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) ranks the most important factors affecting your credit score as:
- Your debt repayment history.
- Any previous bankruptcy.
- Total outstanding debt.
With those three factors in mind, we've organized ringtone song ideas by seven categories of credit scores, starting at the lowest end of the scale.
